Justin Latham, Lead PastorAs the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Justin has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He had served as a Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Evangelist for nine years before planting The Awakening Community Church. Justin serves as the Keynote Speaker at several events throughout the year including the Christian Rock/Hip Hop concert “Rock The Cross” in Bowling Green Kentucky. Despite the demanding schedule of a pastor, Justin always makes time for what he calls “My First Ministry” which is his beautiful wife, Son, Nehemiah and two beautiful daughters. Shelby Latham, Co-Pastor
Shelby leads and coordinates our growing group of Connect Group Leaders. Shelby holds a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Kentucky. She is the current Speech Language Pathologist for Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Although Shelby lives an extremely busy life with a professional career and a growing ministry, she always makes time for her first ministry, her family.
